Business Support

Business Support is an additional service proposed by the BID.  The service can include business network mentoring, communications knowledge transfer, waste management and human resources.   Through collective working and the centralising of generic business needs, economies of scale can be achieved resulting in financial saving for business.  

Staff recruitment and retention is a problem area which has been highlighted during our consultation process.  The Business Improvement Team working in conjunction with local business can pool knowledge and formulate a strategic policy where business and staff needs can be addressed.  Using our combined knowledge and our educational support networks, appropriate training and recruitment practises can be used throughout the business parks, freeing up management time for a process which is replicated throughout all 240 businesses.

Replication of services is a factor throughout all of the businesses in the business parks, again, by working to together and communicating business need, not only can financial savings be made, but using innovative environmental practises, Clackmannanshire can be seen as an environmental leader who other regions will benchmark their activities against.
